Meet Annika Veronica, a non-binary science student with a true love for fashion. Not only does she make her own clothes but also lives with a life-threatening disease. She formerly created DIY content for her many followers on Youtube and promotes sustainable and ethical fashion.
She is perfect for the Sportsgirl brand and is an inspirational icon for women today, as she positively and optimistically navigates life whilst living with a chronic illness that is both life-threatening and has caused her immobility. Her videos and posts are uplift and empower her many followers, as she not only posts instructional videos but her medical journey too.
The Annika Victoria X Sportsgirl Tote Collab
Sportsgirl will collaborate with Annika by getting her to create a limited edition range of unique patchwork tote bags that are made from faulty and unwanted Sportsgirl garments. These bags will be offered at end of sale in-store as an alternative to the current shopping bags. She will further promote the brand by posting instructional Instagram reels that show her making the tote bags, encouraging others to buy the bag when purchasing at Sportsgirl, and also upcycle.
Cost
With the help of our creative and skilled Sportsgirl team, Annika will create 50 limited edition bags that will be sold for $20. Annika will receive 80% of the earnings from the bag and the other 20% will cover the fabric wastage fee. This allows for mutual return on investment as both parties also get exposure, as Annika has a strong following.
